Accessibility statement

Many of our customers are public entities with accessibility obligations of their own. We hold ourselves to the same standard.

Our goal

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. That exceeds WCAG 2.1 AA, the level the US Department of Justice requires for state and local government websites under the ADA Title II rule.

What we do

  • semantic HTML with headings, landmarks and a skip-to-content link;
  • text contrast that meets or exceeds AA ratios on our dark theme;
  • full keyboard operation with visible focus indicators;
  • text alternatives for meaningful images and descriptions for diagrams;
  • animations that respect your “reduce motion” setting;
  • content that reflows on small screens and at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling;
  • interactive tools that work without a mouse and announce results to screen readers.

Known limitations

Product illustrations on the site are simplified mock-ups with sample data and are described in text nearby. If anything on the site doesn’t work for you, we want to know.

The CIP Sentry product

We are working toward an Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT) for the CIP Sentry application. Customers and procurement teams can request our current status.
